I came upon this site while doing an internet search to find the phone number for Garden State Vet Specialists, as I wanted to recommend them to a friend. I understand that all businesses and health care providers might have good days and great days and maybe some bad days...and that not always will their best foot be forward...however, that being said, I felt compelled to post on this forum to tell 'my' story/experience. Our loving family member 'Randy', 15 years young and still what keeps all of us happy when we're feeling a little down, is alive today thanks to this hospital! When Randy fell ill on evening and we knew something was seriously wrong....no clue what it was, just that it was serious..we rushed him to our vet who told us his stomach had 'flipped', which is something that ahppens in dogs..and if we didn't get him excellent emergency care immediately, he would be gone. We were referred to Garden State Vet Specialists in Tinton Falls. When we arrived we were grief stricken, of course, but, we still tlak to this day, 2 years later, about how amazing the staff there treated us, and Randy. From the receptionist to the surgeon and his asisstants, EVERYONE made us feel like Randy was part of THEIR family, let alone OURS. Additionally, Randy survived and keeps our home warm today! In the past 2 years when I have discussed our experience I have been amazed at how many others have also used this hospital and I honestly have yet to meet or speak to one person who had ANYTHING negative to say about Garden State Vet Specialists in terms of quality of care, and quality of life, caring for either their pet or themselves. I do know a few people who have said 'they're amazing....but expensive'...but not a single person out of probably 30 people who have ever said anything other than how caring and professional these specialists are, and that they will forever remain their first choice for their pet's urgent care. I am saddened to hear that you lost your loved one, but, I know you must be one of the very very few who had a bad experience there, and I can understand you being upset about it..as would me and my family...but, the other side of the story does need to be told, which is why I am posting on this forum.
